Cub Scouts Raingutter Regatta

11:00am - 4:00pm

The Cub Scouts, from the  Mohegan Boy Scout Council, will offer you a chance to compete in a raingutter regatta!  Using home made boats you will blow the sail of the boat down the water filled rain gutter. Whoever gets to the end first is declared the winner.

If you want to learn more about food justice in Worcester and the ways you can get involved, come visit the Regional Environmental Council. We will be showcasing our mobile market van and conducting a seed planting activity for all ages.

Science on the Street

Come by to meet the folks from Cambridge Science on the street! They will be exploring kite building and the science behind how the design makes them fly.  You can even make one for yourself!

The Power of Motion!

Join the folks from Head Start Worcester and have fun with this interactive exhibit that will allow children and families to explore the topic of motion while experimenting with a sand wall and wind tunnel.  

Get “Up Front & Personal” with the Creepy, the Crawly and the Cute!

12:00pm - 3:00pm

Come meet Leo Spinner from Skins and Scales where you can interact with snakes, frogs, lizards, spiders, and even tortoises big enough to ride! Learn about these creatures from around the world & have a chance to get hands-on!
